About Us
The Otter Sleep
Inn is a modern six unit motel situated in the heart of Tulameen.
We provide clean, comfortable accommodation at a very affordable
price. During your stay you will enjoy mountain and lake views,
year-round recreation and an abundance of fresh, clean air in
a unique peaceful setting.
Tulameen
is
a tranquil little town tucked away in the Otter River Valley,
in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. About 250 residents
live in town and along Otter Lake. An outdoor skating rink, beach
volleyball court, basketball hoops, horseshoe pit, baseball field,
boat launch and sandy beach are situated close to the motel.
The Schoolhouse Museum, public library and community hall are
right next door.
Otter
Lake, the Tulameen River, surrounding forests and hundreds of
miles of back country roads provide the visitor with a super
natural outdoor playground. Anglers may be lucky enough to reel
in Kokanee, Rainbow or Lake Trout from one of the 49 lakes in
the surrounding area. Wildlife and wildflowers abound.
The
picturesque Kettle Valley Railway (KVR) follows the shoreline
of beautiful Otter Lake and can be easily accessed just one block
down the road from the motel. The historic settlement of Coalmont
and the ghost towns of Granite City and Blakeburn are a short
distance away. Tulameen basks in the rays of plentiful Okanagan
sunshine.
Year-round
recreation offers something for everyone: Fishing,
swimming, cycling, golfing, snowmobiling, hunting, outdoor skating,
cross-country skiing, hockey, snow shoeing, ice fishing, gold
panning, fossil hunting, rock hunting, water skiing, canoeing,
